Using the Personal Budget software application you can manage any number of money categories, structured using the following types:
Revenues;
Expenses;
Savings.
The Personal Budget application comes preconfigured with a list of categories that cover most users’ needs, but these categories can be modified, deleted, or you can add new categories. In these categories you can define any number of sub-categories (items). The detail level is the user’s choice and the goal of defining these categories/sub-categories is to be able to later obtain detailed reports on the Revenues, Expenses and Savings of your family.

After defining this structure, you will be able to make a monthly budget and track Revenues/Expenses. Planning from the beginning the amount of money you estimate to collect/ spend for each item, afterwords reporting the actual figures every time you make an actual collection or an actual expense.
At the beginning of each month, the budget will be initialized, and the Personal Budget software application will automatically enter the planned amounts, depending on the date and on the repetitiveness set for the ammounts: monthly, quarterly, half yearly, annually. (For example: the salary will be repeated monthly, and the tax on the house will be repeated annually). The amount of money remaining from last month will be considered as amount available in the current month. Also, we kept in mind that there are some compulsory expenditures (maintenance for exemple). If in a month you forget to pay it, it will appear in next month’s budget and it will be marked red.
Depending on the planning and reporting performed, the Personal Budget application will keep a record of the exact amount of money you have available at any time, but also of the ammount you have available at the end of each month. This will give you enough information to make correct decisions regarding the payment of unexpected expenses.
The actual revenues and expenses can be associated with family members, this being reflected in the graphical reports made available by the Personal Budget application. You will know at any time who spent a certain ammount of money, how much, on what and why a certain amount of money has been spent, but especially, you will know “where did the money go…”
